How are the CD, zip and floppy drives used from Linux?
See the notes for Mandrake10.2 systems. The rest of this answer applies to older Linux versions. Depending on which window manager you are using there may be icons on the screen to enable access to these drives. They can also be accessed from the command line. On Mandrake systems you need to ‘mount’ the drive first, and unmount (actually umount) afterwards.
