No the beaches are not still damaged. Hurricane Wilma did damage in October 2005. They have done an amazing job in renovating resorts and rebuilding the ones that were destroyed. They spend millions to bring back the beaches. Some of the beaches are bigger, some are smaller. The tropical storms of 2007 did not hurt Cancun.
