How are the badges numbered?
The badges are pre-coded at the factory with unique barcodes – we never produce two badges with the same code. The barcode and its 4-digit alphanumeric equivalent are printed on one side of the badge so that it is easy to identify. The link between an employee and a badge is made within the application software – the system user simply enters the badge code with the employee name. A label with the employee’s name can be placed on the reverse side of the badge, or can be be written on the badge with a permanent marker.
