The allowance is the same for every VIE assigned to a same country. The remuneration is made up of: – A basic allowance (€660) regardless of the host country or the level of qualification. – An additional allowance related to the assignment country. This additional allowance may increase or decrease, depending on exchange rate fluctuations and on prices calculated by the French authorities, which are published every quarter in the form of an Order in the Journal Officiel (Official Journal of the French Republic).
