The Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP) is the developer of many of the software applications that are used by deployed medical personnel to electronically document the lifelong medical record for Service members. MC4 is the software integrator, tester, fielder, trainer and supporter of the complete system. MC4 takes the TMIP-provided software and tests, evaluates and integrates the software to make sure it works as intended on MC4’s ruggedized hardware, as well as with the other software programs, making it a complete system. Additionally, MC4 trains medical personnel and commanders to use the system, and fields and sustains the systems on the battlefield. TC2 is the application used to capture inpatient medical records and AHLTA-T, the deployed version of AHLTA, is used for outpatient documentation.
