How are submissions scored?
• PageToFame uses statistical analysis to evaluate rating data. This analysis is objective, and only uses reader ratings to score submissions. • During early rounds, submissions are not compared with one another, so scoring is non-competitive. Rounds do not begin or end at a set time, nor will all successful submissions move on to the next round at the same time. Instead, high-quality submissions will move on to the next round whenever they meet PageToFame’s threshold for market appeal. • Threshold: In determining the threshold, PageToFame applies statistical analysis that considers 4 and 5 ratings as a percentage of total ratings, giving more weight to ratings of 5. PageToFame also tracks how many readers click “not my genre” in order to make sure your work gets the most accurate evaluation possible, from readers who are interested in your genre of writing.
