How are students selected to participate on academic teams?
There are a number of factors taken into account in choosing participants for teams such as Science Olympiad, Math Counts, Scholar Bowl and Team Quest. In part, students are chosen based on teacher recommendations, class grades and standardized test results. The student’s own interest, behavior and ability to work on a team are also important factors.
