How are students selected to attend the charter school?
Any Calvert County student is eligible to attend the charter school. The only limitation to this is the number of slots available. Parents must actively decide whether or not they would like their children to attend the charter school by completing and submitting an application by the deadline that is yet to be determined. If we receive fewer applications than we have slots, all the applicant will be admitted to the school. If we receive more applications than we have slots, we are required by law to hold a lottery among those applicants for admission to the school.
