Pre-Kindergarten students are screened with a readiness assessment for Kindergarten in the spring. Kindergarten students are evaluated each semester. All students in grades 1-6 are evaluated on a quarterly basis. Students in grades K-2 do not receive letter grades. Grade 3 students receive a combination evaluation with letter grades in reading, mathematics, and spelling. Students in grades 4-6 receive a letter grade in all academic areas.
