Should a serious pandemic or epidemic situation occur, the Illini-Alert system could be used to alert students. McKinley Health Center and other campus units do a good job of informing students about important wellness practices. Immunizations are available at McKinley, and “cold packs” are also available for a mild, seasonal cold. More information on McKinley Health Center can be found online. McKinley also partners with Campus Recreation to provide The Wellness Center, which is located in the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC).
