Producers, directors, and casting agents can search the online database for talent. They can view the profile of the actors, which includes physical descriptions, details about actor’s experiences, portfolio pictures, and video showreel. If they find a certain profile to be suitable, they can communicate with the aspiring actor by sending a message. They may want to simply learn more about the actor or invite the actor for a live screen test. The industry professionals can also add the actor to their “Aspiring Actors Network” section on their profile page to keep track of actors who seem to be suitable for the required roles. Casting will be determined by the requirements sent in from the director/producer or casting agent. Some of these industry professionals may be seeking someone to play a lead “Hero” or “Heroine”.
