Southern Baptists assessing tsunami damage were on Nias when the quake hit. They, along with another Baptist team that was elsewhere in Indonesia at the time of the quake, are surveying damage on Nias. Southern Baptists are trying to reach Simeulue, but are having difficulty because of damage to the Simeulue airport.
