A. The Investment Calculator tracks the cash flows in and out of an investment along with the historical values. As such it can be used to calculate the performance of any investment including short positions. A short position would factor in when you calculate the market value of your investment to be entered in the “Historical Values” tab of the Investment Details window. How you calculate the value of a short position is a separate topic and there are many seperate good references that cover this.
