There are two different kinds of presets: Server presets and locally stored presets. Server presets allow administrators to control some behavior that a user will experience when they log in. This is currently limited to the items listed below under server controlled presets. These settings follow that user account from computer to computer and will be applied the first time they log into a recorder. If any changes are made on that particular computer, the locally stored presets will override the server presets. Server Controlled Presets: Video and audio: User must record primary video from any supported device. The recorder will choose DV cameras over other video devices if both types are available. Audio only: User must record audio from any supported device, but cannot record primary video devices. No primary stream: User cannot record a primary stream.
