How are schools made aware of the AP/IB Test Fee Reimbursement program?
The CDE uses several approaches to notifying school personnel about the AP Test Fees Reimbursement program: • Each fiscal year, CDE mails a letter in the fall to all Superintendents, Principals, and AP/GATE Coordinators that explains the AP/IB Test Fee Reimbursement program and how schools can participate. Attachments that show how to determine income eligibility, the fee distribution, a sample student eligibility form, and flyers about AP Audit and AP Fee Information Sessions are included. CDE also emails this information to the same group; • School personnel may download and print the forms from the CDE web page. This page is updated annually and school personnel should check the web page in the spring for updates if they do not receive the information in the mail or email; The CDE uses a Lyris account to notify appropriate school personnel that new information is available and has been sent and/or posted to the CDE web site.
