How are Run Groups Determined?
You will be assigned to a Run Group (Green = Novice, Yellow = Intermediate, Blue = Advanced Intermediate, White=Advanced) based on several criteria. If you are new to Car Guys, and/or have little experience with other on-track organizations, you will most likely be assigned to the Green Group. Additional criteria includes the type of car you are driving and the recommendations of Instructors. During the course of an event, your Instructor may recommend a Run Group change, based on your ability. This change could be to a higher group, and in some cases an Instructor might recommend a move to a lower group. The Management of Car Guys, Inc., may also move students to different groups, at it’s discretion.
