How are roommates placed?
Students may pick their own roommate or have housing pick their roommate. Students can pick their own roommate via their own means, (i.e., someone you met on your own), or through the Roommate Placement List. The Roommate Placement List Application will be sent to single students that apply for housing with their application confirmation. Housing will do its best to facilitate roommate preferences and requests. If students are choosing their roommate(s), the roommate highest on the waiting list will be able to bring in the roommate(s) of their choice. Students must have their roommate(s) chosen by the verbal offer from housing. If the student does not have roommate(s) selected, or both sides do not confirm interest in being roommates, then housing will choose the roommate(s).
