How are roommates assigned in Theme Housing?
Roommates are assigned manually by the Theme Housing Coordinator. Students who request roommates are matched first. The Theme Housing Coordinator then looks at the three lifestyle questions on the applications and matches students as closely as possible. Because Theme Housing occupies limited space, it is not always possible to achieve perfect matches. In Global Village, it is a priority to make sure the majority, if not all, international students are paired with an American roommate.
