How are reviews prioritized and how long will a misconduct review take?

0

Reviews are prioritized as follows: * New candidates for training; * Officers who have been hired and their PCS1 of hire received by the CJA; * Requests for preliminary eligibility reviews received from a law enforcement agency interested in hiring a law enforcement officer. Requests for preliminary eligibility reviews must be requested in writing and include a signed Release from the law enforcement officer. While every effort will be made to provide a timely review, the CJA cannot complete its review until all background information is received. NOTE: You MUST be employed or have a department interested in hiring you before the CJA will conduct a misconduct review.
