How are residence hall assignments and roommate assignments made?
A. Entering students are assigned rooms in the residence halls by the Office of Residence Life and Housing during the summer. Assignment to a residence hall is based upon the dates of receipt of both the $300 enrollment deposit and the Room Assignment Request Form, which is forwarded to the student upon acceptance. Roommates are usually assigned by evaluating information provided by students on that form concerning their housing and lifestyle preferences.
