The Body Donation Program fulfills requests for non-surgically obtained anatomical specimens. If the Body Donation Program is unable to fulfill a request based on current inventory, it will order the necessary specimen from a pre-approved external source of human anatomical specimens. The Pathology Department fulfills requests for surgical anatomical specimens obtained at UCDMC or its affiliated clinics.
