How are regions, networks, and community school districts (CSDs) used in nySTART?
Verification reports are available only at the school and CSD level. Although there are no region-level verification reports, however, region-level users can see CSD verification reports for the CSDs in the region. Similarly, although there are no network-level verification reports, network-level users can see school verification reports for the schools in the network. By contrast, Assessment Reports are not available at the CSD level, but CSD-level users will be able to see these reports for the schools in the CSD. nySTART administrators at the NYCDOE have the ability to administer the accounts of all NYC regional superintendents, community superintendents, local instructional superintendents (LISes), and principals.
