How are recipients nominated for the Honors Program?
• Honors of NSSLHA – Nominations for the Honors of NSSLHA are made by the NSSLHA Honors Committee at the spring meeting of the Executive Council. The Council discusses the nominations and votes for the individual that it believes are most worthy of the Honor for that year. • NSSLHA Editor’s Award – The Editor of NSSLHA nominates recipients for the NSSLHA Editor’s Award. Nominees are selected from published articles from the fall issue of Contemporary Issues in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CICSD). • Advisor of the Year Honors – Nominations for Advisor of the Year Honors are accepted from local NSSLHA chapters through the online application process. • Chapter of the Year Honors – Nominations for Chapter of the Year Honors are accepted from local NSSLHA chapters through the online application process. • Member Honors – Nominations for Member Honors are accepted from local NSSLHA chapters through the online application process. Any college or university junior, senior, or graduate
