How are projects selected for inclusion in IndieVest’s Premiere Portfolio?
IndieVest Pictures employs a rigorous development process for each feature film investment opportunity it anticipates producing or co-producing—with the goal of finding compelling, character-driven projects with unique stories. Once we have fine-tuned scripts, reached agreements with writers and directors and fully modeled the below-the-line budgets, we then cast top-tier on-screen talent. Our film distribution, marketing and finance teams also analyze the financial viability of each project—reviewing such factors as the track record of the talent involved and comparable domestic and foreign releases. When all of these disciplines are working in concert, the project’s private placement memorandum is made available to our Members by inclusion in the Premiere Portfolio.
