How are products approved for use in the vending machines?
A. OSFNS has reviewed and approved a wide range of snacks and beverages for inclusion on the list of acceptable items. For items to be added to the list, the manufacturer must send an ingredient statement and nutritional information to the Department of Food Technology for review. We will arrange to conduct product testing once we have confirmed that the product meets our requirements on paper.
