Communication between the roommates should occur first. If there is no resolution, a Resident Advisor (RA) gets involved in the mediation. If those steps do not work, the mediation is sent to the Student Life Council, the Director of First Year Programs, and/or the Director of Residence Life. If issues cannot be resolved, students may be referred to Residence Life for a room change.
