How Are Pro-D Institutes Delivered?
Pro-D Institutes are delivered face-to-face on-campus at the University of Victoria, or on-site in another location off-campus. The facilitators are active professionals in their fields whose backgrounds typically combine experience in K-12 classrooms and specialized training in a field such as art therapy, autism, curriculum adaptation and modification, or Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. They bring with them an understanding of current educational issues, the IRPs, and the resources and strategies to enhance activities in the classroom.
