How are private elementary schools rated?

Private school aren’t “rated” as such. There is no website that I know of that does this specifically. You do need to be careful, however, to attend a school that is accredited. You can call the school itself and ask if they are accredited or not. They should tell you if they are and by whom. I would also highly suggest that you talk to other parents in the area, both parents that are sending their children to that school and ones that aren’t. Maybe even ask the school when you call them for the above reason for a list of references. These will, of course, be the parents the school knows to be most happy with them, but it will be a place to start. If possible, even talk to some of the kids who are currently attending there and some who have graduated from there. Kids will be even more likely to be truthful, even blunt about what’s good and bad. Making school decisions for your child/ren can be very tough and I commend you for doing what you can to make sure it’s the best school for you
