• All new PSVs will attend an induction course both at a corporate and local level. • All PSVs are required to attend the corporate induction course at Police Headquarters along with Police Staff. Day one includes an introduction to the Constabulary. Day two is the inclusion part of the induction, which includes learning about the six strands of diversity. It is proposed some alternative evening dates will also be put on for both parts of the induction. Please note, day one and day two of the induction will normally occur at least a month apart. • The PSVs named supervisor will be responsible for their local induction. • All PSVs must complete a computer based training package covering Information Security, Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Government Protective Marking Scheme. Other online training is also available. • PSVs using other Constabulary systems must attend the specific training courses for these systems.
