Bank of America sponsored reward points (1 point/$1 and 2 points/$1 net retail dollar) are calculated based on net retail qualifying transactions. Caremark-sponsored reward points (50, 75, 100, or 500 bonus points) are calculated based on a review of generic and preferred brand medication purchases under the prescription benefit or discount card plan administered by Caremark, as well as reviewing your use of caremark.com and the toll-free automated refill system to process refill transactions and reviewing your updated credit card profile. Remember, earned points can only be rewarded if Caremark has received your authorization form with the appropriate signatures and Caremark is administering your pharmacy benefit.

The resulting number is then rounded to determine the Points that may be awarded: $25.30 x .5 = $12.65, which is then rounded up to $13.00, resulting in 13 Points. On a 1 Point per $1 ratio on Credit Card purchases, the cardholder would receive 25 Points ($25.30 would be rounded down to $25.00). If the transaction amount was $24.80, the Points awarded would be 12 Points for a Check Card transaction ($24.80 x .5 = $12.40 which would be rounded down to $12), and 25 Points for a Credit Card transaction ($24.80 would be r
