A. For local recognized rides, Sweepstakes horses will earn one point for each horse they beat in the ride and one point for themselves up to 6th place. If a horse competes in ride that is held in conjunction with a Regional Ride, the horse will earn points only for the Regional ride. Competitive Trail Rides must be 25 miles in length or longer, Endurance rides must be 50 miles or longer. For Regional Rides, the 50% rule is applied (i.e. if 7 horses in a Regional Ride, the top 4 horses will receive points.
