How are player salaries determined?
Player salaries are determined separately with a patent-pending algorithm each day and for each game set. Once a contest is offered, the salaries and players are locked for all current and future entrants. Player salaries take a number of factors into account, including past and current season performance, recent performance, batter-pitcher match-ups, ballpark effects, player popularity, and player position.
