How Are People Affected By Floods?
Floods are very devastating. Most insurance companies will not have flood coverage, so many people loose everything. Also, many people die in floods. Look at New Orleans, when the levys went during the hurricane, and whole city was flooded, so many died, lost their homes, loved ones, etc. Some are rebuilding. In holland, they have the best dams, as their country is below sea level. Unlike the ones in the states, and are constantly upgrading and improving on them. There is no reason why the flood in New Orleans should have been as bad as it got. A lot has to do with government aid, and lack of spending.
