How are payments processed?
Your payments are processed immediately on your providing the credit card details and clicking on the ‘submit’ button. Upon this submission the service will send your credit card payment for authorization. A processing screen is displayed and you cannot cancel the payment at this stage. You will normally receive an approved or declined response from your financial institution within 15 – 25 seconds. If your payment is successful, you will be informed that your payment has been accepted and be given a payment identification number. If your payment is unsuccessful, the service will inform you why your financial institution has declined your payment.
A. If you have chosen to make your credit card payment immediately, then your payment will be processed as you wait. You will receive an approved or declined notification within 30 seconds. If you have scheduled a credit card payment for a later date, a payment request is sent to your financial institution on the scheduled date. An approved or declined notification is logged in your payment history for your reference.
