How are page counts reported on a printer with multiple HP Jetdirect devices installed?
Answer – When tracking page counts on a printer with multiple HP Jetdirect devices installed in it, HP Report Generation Plug-in will only track page counts for the printer based on one of the HP Jetdirect devices (the first one it captures data on). HP Report Generation Plug-in will not capture data based on the other HP Jetdirect device. Instead, it will mark the device (based on its IP Address and Serial Number) as not valid and capture these details in a log file. This will prevent duplicate page counts from occurring.
