How are On Time RTOS-32 applications developed?

You can use any one of the supported Win32 compilers (MS Visual C++, Borland C/C++, Borland Delphi) exactly as you would use it to generate a Windows program. Once the compiler and linker have produced an .EXE file, the file is processed by the On Time RTOS-32 locator to produce the program’s binary image. If you use an IDE such as Microsoft Visual Studio, the locator can be executed automatically when the project is built. When you decide to debug the program (either using the Visual Studio integrated debugger or Borland’s TD32), the program is downloaded to the target automatically and the debugger will behave exactly as it does for local debugging. The respective compiler’s IDE and command-line tools are both fully supported.
