In the United States appropriate label declarations include Oleoresin Paprika, Extractives of Paprika, and Artificial Color. In EU countries paprika is labeled as “natural flavor” if the carotenoid content is less than 7%. If the content is greater than 7%, the extract must be labeled as E160c.
