How are notices chosen to be run?
Most notices submitted to Moonlady News are run. The moderator will occasionally send back those that are not properly formatted, that are not coherent, or that have too little info to be useful. If you wonder why a notice wasn’t run on such-and-such, it’s because they didn’t send it in! Quite a few notices are created by the moderator and co-moderators. We look for things on the list topics in print media, on the web and while out and about. Besides staying on topic (we try!), we look for the underdog, the small enterprise, people and activities not likely to be covered by print media. The little gems. Overall the emphasis is on action with a local and regional focus. Think pieces and information articles on acupuncture you can find all over the web.
