How are Naturopathic Physicians trained?
Naturopathic Physicians licensed in the State of Washington must receive four years of post-graduate training in an accredited naturopathic medical school. Pre-admission requirements are equivalent to those for entrance to conventional medical schools. Training includes basic medical and clinical sciences, naturopathic philosophy and therapeutics. Graduating students receive a doctorial degree, N. D., Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.
