How are Nagel Art & Co Canvas Prints Made?
Nagel Art & Co. canvas prints are made starting with an original Lauren Nagel photograph. Once the photograph is both shot and selected, it is either altered digitally or by hand. When the alterations are completed, it is uploaded to our computers as a digital file. It is then sized and printed directly (no screen prints or image transfers are involved) onto a 54″ wide roll of canvas. Once printed, it is cut to size, stretched around a wooden stretcher bar frame, and stapled to the back of the wood. Nagel Art & Co. prints do not require or come with framing wire, as they are easier to both level and hang without it. To hang, simply balance the top most stretcher bar centrally over a nail. Please note that Nagel Art & Co. canvas prints come with a small part of the image wrapped around the sides of the wooden stretcher bars (Please refer to Image A).
