How are my medicare benefits for Outpatient Therapy and Home Health related?
Medicare does not pay for outpatient therapy if you are receiving any kind of home health at the same time. If your doctor has prescribed physical, occupational, or speech therapy on an outpatient basis, you will need to end home health services before you can register for outpatient therapy. Please check with your doctor if you have questions about the services you need to receive.
