Communication is essential and face-to-face communication is always the best way to communicate. Videoconferencing solutions are probably the second best way and help us save time and money by saving expenses on travel. The third best option is telephone/mobile communication. If I say that we use standards of the group we, firstly, talk about standardized processes. To make our processes run we have to implement 120 systems for all our business areas like finance, purchase, HR, quality assurance, logistics, production, planning and our technical office. This includes SAP systems, CAD/CAM systems as well as Internet applications and legacy systems.
