How are messages played and viewed with an email client?
It enables users to view the message header information in their familiar interface. To hear a voice message the user double-clicks on the message icon and indicates whether the message is delivered over the telephone or the TCP/IP connection to the PC. To view a fax, the user double-clicks on the message icon to invoke the Imaging for Windows application. The TIFF file is then downloaded from the Meridian Application Server and displayed on the desktop.
