A call for nominations is printed in NAEA News, which explains the process. The nominating committee assembles a slate of individuals most qualified for each office. By January, an election ballot is mailed to all members eligible to vote. President-elect and National Division Directors are elected in odd-numbered years; Vice Presidents in even-numbered years.
