How are Maverest dentists reimbursed?
They are reimbursed based on the Maverest Dentist Fee Schedule for each specified zip code area. The Fee Schedule determines the total fee that a participating Maverest member (insured individual) will be obligated to pay a Maverest dentist for services provided. The total fee shown on the fee schedule is the combined total of the member’s deductibles, coinsurance and/or co-payments required at the time of service, plus the benefit payment from the member’s insurance company or benefit administrator. (The amount a member is required to pay at the time of service, depends on the type of benefit plan under which the member has coverage.
