Learning objectives are made clear and understandable to students, as well as to families, via deliberate redundancies: a General Expectations guideline administered at the beginning of the year to students (and to parents at Back To School Night), independent rubrics handed out in advance of due dates for weightier assignments, course calendars, and class web-pages with weekly assignment calendars.
