How are JOYA Gemstone Massages different from Hot Stone Massages?
During a JOYA Massage the freely rotating gemstones are carrying out the massage. The crystal spheres size has been chosen to match the anatomy of our muscles allowing you to also work more precisely and deeper than you do in a stone massage. The feeling of the gemstones ROLLING over the skin creates an entirely new massage experience for the masseuse and the client. Some practitioners use the Classic Professional Roller with its back side towards the muscles which is comparable to a stone massage.
