How are iWoorx modified wikiCalc® spreadsheets different from Google Spreadsheets and NumSum?
We have focused on developing wiki spreadsheet functions that are especially important in business settings. Google, NumSum, and others are targeted at personal use. Also, iWoorx has been assembled using all Open Source software, and we will be releasing our modifications as open source as well. This means that you or your own IT department can get a copy of the software source code and use it under the terms of each open source license. So you can make your own changes, and you are not “locked” into a single software vendor. We choose wikiCalc® as our wiki spreadsheet engine because it is the most stable and most developed Open Source wiki spreadsheet. It also supports both an online and offline versions which will be critical to the businesses that adopt wiki spreadsheets.
