How are investment decisions made?
Investment decisions are made through the United Way Community Allocation process. By making a gift to United Way of Chittenden County, your contribution is entrusted to knowledgeable fund distribution volunteers. After reviewing funding requests and examining community needs, recommendations are made to the United Way Board of Directors. Upon approval, dollars are distributed to specific programs at United Way member agencies which address Chittenden County’s most critical issues.
