How are interior walls finished?

0

Interior walls in our homes are finished like typical frame walls, with a few exceptions. First, because our logs are configured as full-round, the interior of the exterior walls will be log except where this would pose a safety hazard. If there is a log wall running through the interior of the house, it will be full log on both sides, except where a safety hazard presents itself. A safety hazard might be where a stove butts against a log wall. In this instance, a shield of a more fireproof material will be necessary. All other interior walls are finished to the owner’s discretion after meeting with their builder. We do ask that you let us know what type of walls you will be using so we can draw your plan accordingly.
